EU Taking the Wrong Road

The other day I mentioned that the EU was at the crossroads. Two days later the court has made its decision and both sides are claiming victory.

I really hate to see this kind of spin from the losing side, which the member states clearly are. Yes, they were tossed a small bone, but clearly did not get the decision they were hoping for.

This is a great achievement for the bureaucrats in Brussels looking to micro-manage every aspect of the member states existence. As I said, hopefully this will help hasten the fall of the EU. On the up side however, Germany and France could now be held liable for fines of €10 billion and €7 billion, respectively.
